Engagement Pictures

What an adventure!! With our crazy and very opposite schedules, and trying to coordinate that with our photographer, Tyler and I had ONE day available to take our pics. I was, to put it lightly, STRESSED OUT OF MY MIND about the day we had to take them. Since there was no other day- they had to be perfect! First, we had to get up Saturday morning and drive alllll the way down, past Salt Lake to Fashion Place Mall to get Tyler the new shoes he really wanted, cause that was the only place with his size =)
Then we hurried back up to North Ogden to get ready to meet Ruth Silver-Madsen, our good friend and photographer, for pictures at 5. It had been partially clouding and raining off and on all day. We had bounced back and forth about timing and where we should take our pics. We finally settled on this good idea Tyler had, and Ruth found us some places for it. So Tyler's parents helped us load up the couch, YESS we took a couch =) and we headed out to East Layton to meet Ruth.
When we arrived to meet her it was POURING rain, BLACK skies, and the wind was blowing like crrrraaazzyyyy. I started to cry. hahaha i was pretty much done! But Ruth said the place she had found was out farther West, where it looked like we might find sun. so we followed her. SURE ENOUGH we found SUN!!! we found sun and a LOT of wind. but we set up anyway and tried to start. Thankfully Mark and Debbie (Ty's parents) had come with us, and they held up a tarp to block the wind for us-- GENIUS!!!! They rock!
Suddenly a gorgeous rainbow formed in the clouds to the east of us! Who gets to have a perfect bright rainbow in their engagement pictures??? Oh WE DO! =)
In the end the pics turned out amazing. We have our disc to choose from, and then Ruth will edit them for us. I have one that is edited and ready so i'll give you guys a little teaser. I'm also gonna put the rainbow one up even though it's not edited yet. We'll have the rest soon!
