Thanksgiving in Parker

We were able to make the long trek down to AZ to be with my family for Thanksgiving. I was so grateful to spend some time with my parents and give them more time to get to know Tyler. They were so sweet to host us for the weekend. We had so much fun!
Because of weather we had to leave late on Thanksgiving day, so we arrived just in time for a late dinner. Dad and Ty woke up before the sun the next day to hit the golf course for a 7 AM tee time, where Tyler was startled by the crisp air and the ice on the course. We thought we were coming to AZ for a cold break, but Parker was having some unseasonably icy temps. Mom and I slept in, then hit the black Friday shoppin in Havasu. At JCPenny we ran into the Openshaws, which was exciting since the Britts had not seen each other in quite some time!

On Saturday we had all of our Parker friends over for an Open House to meet Tyler. It was so fun! Sis. Howerton made us a beautiful cake to cut and share. We are so blessed to know such wonderful people, and we are grateful to everyone who came!
